That’s Brett Hellings’ story. As the voice that carries supergroup Hellings, Brett heads a lineup that includes Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper), Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses), Buck Johnson (Aerosmith), Kenny Aronoff (Smashing Pumpkins) and Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big). Together, they took the unusual opportunity afforded by the pandemic in order to create thunderous classic rock music that is both nostalgic and fresh.
We talk about that music on this episode, including their first single “Kill Me to Keep Loving You.” But more importantly, we get an honest look at how a kid from Pennsylvania who grew up steeped in classic rock not only met his heroes— but is making music with them.
